Gus Mancini
Gus has been involved with wrestling since an early age. He comes from the storied Franklin High School program where he started for three state championship teams and won an individual title as a senior. In college, he was a four year starter for the Rochester Institute of Technology wrestling team where he was named captain for both his junior and senior years. Since college he has coached at all levels and looks to bring those experiences to the Waltham Youth Wrestling Club program and is thrilled to bring his son to the mat.
Mike Collins
Mike wrestled at Waltham High School for four years, where he was a state placer and lead the hawks as captain his senior season. He went onto wrestle collegiately at Plymouth State. Currently he is the head coach for grade k youth lacrosse, and is looking forward to coaching his two sons as they start their wrestling journey. He is thrilled to return to the mat alongside his brother Jimmy as coaches.
JIMMY COLLINS
Jimmy wrestled 4 years at Waltham High serving as captain his senior year. He was a state placer and had over 100 wins during his time at WHS. He went on to play baseball at Bryant University. Coach Collins is excited to coach with his brother Mike and looking forward to coaching his sons and nephews.
JOE RECINE
Joe was captain of both the Waltham High Football & Wrestling Teams in 1992. He then went on to become captain of the Bridgewater State Football Team in 1996. In 1998 he returned to Waltham & became Assistant Coach of their Wrestling team. Now with 2 small active children, Joe continues to support the Waltham sports programs by coaching Waltham Youth Baseball & Flag Football.
